My completely useless skills
ok, so i am not lying here. I can connect any actor to Lord of the Rings or Star Trek via another actor in five steps or less. I am the ultimate nerd obviously. An example would be, Mr. Roper aka Norman Fell. Here is how it works:
Norman Fell was in THE GRADUATE with Dustin Hoffman who was in SPHERE with Samuel L Jackson who was in STAR WARS EPISODE 2 with Christopher Lee who played Saruman in LORD OF THE RINGS.
What about Star Trek you say? I can go through Lord Of the Rings to get there.
Norman Fell was in BULLIT with Robert Duvall who was in DEEP IMPACT with Elijah Wood who was in LORD OF THE RINGS with Orlando Bloom who was in KINGDOM OF HEAVEN with Alexander Siddig of STAR TREK DEEP SPACE NINE.
What do i do with this "skill"? Is it taking up brain capacity that could be used to help cure diseases or solve energy problems? Much like Spiderman;s ablilities i find it to be a curse and a gift.
Please note i never use the internet. When i do this it is at the moment. Often without prompting. Oh god...

Courtney Love? Woody Allen? Sometimes I feel like this blog is a kid's house where my Mom drops me off to play while she goes and screws her new boyfriend and we fuck around and feed the cat laxatives and jump off the roof into the swimming pool out back.
Courtney Love? Waaay to easy: She was in The People V Larry Flynt with Crispin Glover, who was in Back to the Future with Christopher Lloyd who was Commander Kruge in Star Trek 3.
She was also in Man on the Moon (a totally disapointing movie BTW) with Jim Carrey who was in Eternal Sunshine.. with Elijah Wood.
Woody Allen? Well he was in Scoop with Hugh Jackman who was in X-men with Patrick Stewart AND Ian Mckellen aka Captain Picard and Gandalf. How is that for killing to nerdy birds with one geeky stone?
Okay. Hows about Bruce Campbell?
And no, just because they filmed Xena in New Zealand doesn't count.
ok. Bruce Campbell was in CONGO with Laura Linney who was in THE TRUMAN SHOW with Jim Carrey who was in ETERNAL SUNSHINE with Elijah Wood.
The chin was also in SPIDERMAN 2 with Kirstin Dunst who was in THE VIRGIN SUICIDES with Danny Devito who was in TAXI with Christoper Lloyd aka commander Kruge.
Kenneth Branagh?
Kenneth Branagh was in WILD WILD WEST with Salma Hayek who was in THE FACULTY with Elijah Wood.
Kenneth Branagh was also in FRANKENSTIEN with Robert Deniro who was in MEAN STREETS with Harvey Keitel who was in PULP FICTION with Phil Lamar who was in FREE ENTERPRISE with William Shatner. Hows that for totally random?

ok. a challenge is a challenge. I will concede that with the exception of Buster Keaton, silent era actors are a bit difficult to connect to ST or LOTR

Buster Keaton is pretty easy since he was in Sunset Blvd.
